Triennale
La Triennale di Milano has been the number one Italian institution of art, design, architecture, fashion and film since 1923.
Founded over 90 years ago (in Monza in 1923), it organises exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art, architects and designers of domestic and international fame, the designers that have set trends and changed our culture, and social issues. It is a workshop of ideas targeted at enthusiasts, students and professionals, but also the public of the future, children and teenagers, with experimental and interactive activities dedicated to the culture of design. It is a participant in an intense dialogue with the rest of the world that is sensitive to the issues of Italian culture and ‘made in Italy’.
La Triennale is hosted in the Palazzo dell’Arte in the centre of Milan in Parco Sempione, one of the city’s historic parks, and was designed since its very origins to be a flexible building capable of adapting to all performance and exhibition requirements.
