Unique School Trips

Milan Open Tour dedicated to schools

Milan Open Tour accompanies students from grade 1 to grade 8 to discover the wonders of Milan.

Today, one year after the launch of the School Trips project, thanks the partnership with Trenord (click here), we can propose our offer also to many other cities in Lombardy: children and kids could leave from train stations of Mantova, Varese FN, Varese FS, Sondrio, Como Lago, Como S. Giovanni, Lecco, Brescia, Bergamo and Monza, getting to main Milan stations (Centrale, Cadorna, Porta Garibaldi). Here they will be welcomed by our buses, to start a wonderful experience discovering our city. At the end of the day, the bus will go back to the same arrival station.

These are the tours:

  • A magical Shoolbus: in collaboration with the Oltre Confine guides and the actors of Dramatrà, we offer this project that drives the kids in the historical center of Milan, with a cultural walking tour followed by a special theatrical speech made by actors in fancy dresses, playing the history and the characters of the visited places, also according to the didactic program of the groups. That’s the perfect tour if you want to discover Milan between architectural beauties, stories, theatre and anecdotes from the top of our buses.

  • Let’s hit the Mark: in collaboration with the troupe of Dramatrà, this tour starts with the actors in piazza Castello, followed by the discovery of the most central areas. A real treasure hunt inside Parco Sempione, with the support of a little book and a map with some hints. The actors will make some questions and the answers will be possible only… looking around! When the time will be out, little seekers will deliver their sheets with answers. More right details… more possibilities to be a winner!

  • All in the Center: in collaboration with touristic guides of Oltreconfine, this is a real walking tour  starting in the well-known center of Milano: piazza Duomo, where rises the Cathedral of Santa Maria Nascente, masterpiece of lombard gothic style. Alessandro Manzoni called it “that big machine”. During the tour many other touchpoint will be visited: Palazzo Reale, the old government palace rose as the first Broletto palace. Then via Mercanti, where we can find the new Broletto, as the representation of municipal authority. In the end the Castello Sforzesco, defense building and noble residence of Francesco Sforza, client of the same castle, then changed by his successors.

  • Leonardo… in 3: the tour starts on board, following the HIGHLIGHTS route. When it comes to an end, a short walk through Galleria Vittorio Emanuele leds the classes to the Leonardo3 Museum (click here), at the corner with Piazza della Scala. The exhibition shows reconstructions of Leonardo’s machineries, restorations of many paintings, multimedial experiences allowing to deal with ideas and codes of the artist. Lunch break in the center and then a surprise: waiting for the kids we have just Leonardo da Vinci, played by an actor of Dramatrà, leading the group in the streets of the city, showing points of interest and involving the kids with the energy and the emotions of a theatre experience… out of the theatre!

The educational tour will take place in full compliance with the current Covid legislation and for each participant 1 Euro will be given to our Dynamo Camp friends, to support projects in favor of children with serious and chronic diseases.
